Recorded with Grammy-Winning Producer, David Bottrill (Tool, Peter Gabriel, Smashing Pumpkins) and Juno Winning Producer, Joel Stouffer (Dragonette, Lowell, Serena Ryder); Language Arts will release their 4th album,Lemon//Lime. Written by band founder, Kristen Cudmore, while in the hospital and while recovering from a traumatic brain injury after getting hit by a drunk driver, when she was riding her bike in her home of Toronto.
Cudmore is a native Nova Scotian and spent some of her hardest months and years trying to push through feeling damaged. The stories she needed to tell came out, when she started to write with an art pop, vapourwave and fresh, but dark synthy boogie.
Mokina
French-Canadian artist mokina soothes audiences with her chilly debut single ‘landline’, blending nuances of jazz, r&b and indie music through lush vocal harmonies and intricate synth and keyboard lines.
The Montreal based artist previously performed as a musician for several bands, touring and performing internationally at festivals such as The Governors Ball, SXSW and Edinburgh Fringe.
Her debut EP will be released this summer on all platforms.
