Alexander Abreu y Havana D’Primera

Widely recognized as the best trumpet player of his generation, singer-songwriter of renown, Alexander Abreu created in 2008 his own formation: Havana D'Primera. This versatile musician makes his music a fascinating fusion of salsa, jazz, funk and Afro-Cuban rhythms. The group was formed by a collective of the best musicians and artists of Cuba-All-Stars. Alexander Abreu composes practically all the songs of the group, he makes sure to mix the rumba and the poetry. He is inspired by his own sensitivity, his personal experience of his life in Cuba.

MAYKEL FONTS

Maykel Fonts est un produit de l'une des écoles de danse les plus prestigieuses à Cuba, le Tropicana, où il a étudié la danse classique et contemporaine avec des danses afro-cubaines, y compris la Rumba cubaine (Guaguancó, Yambú, Columbia). Après avoir déménagé en Italie en 2000, avec le groupe "Ire Batá", il poursuit sa formation en danse avec Virgilio Pitzalis, Marco Macchetti, Steve LaChance, Gus Bemberry, Christopher Uggins, Chacalli, Paganini et bien d'autres. En 2006, il a participé au World Salsa Congress, remportant les prix « meilleure chorégraphie » et « meilleur danseur». La vaste expérience de Maykel dans la danse comprend un travail de chorégraphe et de danseur dans divers festivals, partageant la scène avec des groupes tels que Mercadonegro et Buena Vista Social Club, et se produisant dans de nombreuses émissions de télévision.

La personnalité charismatique de Maykel et l'interprétation de la musique transfixée font de lui l'un des enseignants / interprètes cubains les plus recherchés sur la scène internationale de la salsa. DJ MELAO

David "Melao" Figueroa is recognized as one of the best Cuban Timba DJs in the world and a driving force in the promotion of Cuban music around the world. His passion and understanding of Cuban rhythms and their roots are evident in his exceptional repertoire as he combines an interesting fusion of Timba, Rumba, Songo, Son, Charanga, and other variations of original Cuban music that the island has produced in recent years. Five decades.

Melao's DJ career spanning more than a decade around the world has earned him international recognition and respect from dancers, fans and many Cuban artists. Melao has been invited to work and tour alongside Cuban groups such as Los Van Van, Elito Reve and Charangon, Havana d'Primera, Pupy and Los Que Son, Manolito Simonet and Su Trabuco and Issac Delgado among others. Melao is also the first Cuban-American DJ to be officially invited to DJ in Havana, Cuba where he DJs for more than 50 thousand Cubans and dancers from all over the world.
