Projekt Revolution was created during the summer of 2015 by long-time friends and Linkin Park fans Patrice (drummer for See Through Secrecy) and Liam (keyboardist / guitarist for The Alibi), who started jamming around songs from the first two Linkin Park albums (Hybrid Theory and Meteora) before quickly looking for other musicians to complete their line-up. Chris Kelly (member of Montreal’s April Twenty Nine and Pin Up), Patrick Bureau (drummer for Fall Of Knowledge and Young Critters), and Grégoire Deniger (guitarist) then joined the band. A few weeks later, Nicolas Miquel (DJ Brave) completed the band’s line-up after replying to an ad for the DJ position.

The band then decided to name themselves Projekt Revolution, paying tribute to Linkin Park’s famous tours during the mid-2000’s era. Initially focused on the first two albums, Projekt Revolution progressively added songs from all Linkin Park albums in their setlists.

After 2 years and several shows played between Montreal and Quebec, Chris Kelly had to leave the band in September 2017. The remaining members of Projekt Revolution then met Alec Monbleau-Lefebvre (guitarist / singer for Helpless), an hardcore Linkin Park fan who became the band’s new lead singer.

While Chester Bennington’s death was still in everyone’s mind, a new chapter was just starting for the tribute band, with their musicians strongly feeling their duty was to bring Linkin Park’s music on stage all around Quebec.

Bringing back good memories to long-time fans, travelling through the different musical styles explored by the Californian sextet for almost two decades, helping the younger fans to discover a band who marked an entire generation: these are the goals of Projekt Revolution.

This band, reuniting passionate and eclectic musicians, but also Linkin Park fans before everything else, is now ready to blow your mind like only Linkin Park members could do!
